KEY INGREDIENTS
Mandarin – often used in aromatherapy to promote emotional stability and alleviated irritability, moodiness, frustration and emotional instability. The scent of mandarin promotes optimism and joy. It inspires joy and encourages us to radiate joy!
Sweet orange – commonly used in aromatherapy as it is considered to have mildly sedative and antidepressant effects. It is often recommended for anxiety, alleviating nervous tension and depression. It has a delightful sweet aroma which lifts the spirits and is ideal for the hard-working individual that is a high achiever and does not know how to relax. Highly recommended when one is feeling gloomy and one is taking life to seriously.
May chang – the pleasant vibrant citrus aromas of may chang promotes alertness and optimism. It dispels negative thinking and pessimism.
Bergamot – the fresh, fruity, floral aroma of bergamot contributes to bergamot’s, gently relaxing, yet distinctly uplifting qualities. It is well known in aromatherapy to promote emotional stability, reduce anxiety, irritability, moodiness and pessimism. Blended with other citrus oils such as sweet orange and mandarin, studies have confirmed that bergamot is effective as an antidepressant.
Geranium – commonly used in aromatherapy to create a calming effect that reduces anxiety and our response to stress. Geranium helps to restore emotional harmony and can be useful to reduce moodiness and mood swings.
Rose absolute – often referred to as a gentle but potent antidepressant of aromatherapy. The scent of rose nurtures the heart and promotes love and compassion.
Ylang ylang – traditionally used in aromatherapy to promote emotional stability, reduce irritability, moodiness, frustration and anger. Ylang ylang promotes self-confidence and nurtures the heart chakra by promoting love.
Coriander seed – a dash of coriander seeds enhances the floral notes of ylang ylang and rose absolute. Coriander seed is traditionally used in aromatherapy to promote optimism, creativity and enthusiasm.
